Terms of Service

Effective from 6 October 2026.

1. Who operates Ozef

2. What Ozef is

Ozef is a web app for live audience interaction. Presenters create sessions and run scenes in them; participants respond in the browser on their phones. Participants install nothing.

The service keeps evolving and may change. Features are added and may be adjusted or replaced. Section 8 explains what this means for a Pro subscription.

3. Account

To create sessions you need an account, which you can set up with an email address or with Google. An account belongs to one person, and you are responsible for keeping your login details safe. You can close your account at any time — just write to us. Any running Pro subscription will be cancelled along with it.

We may restrict or close an account that is used in breach of these terms or the law.

4. Free and Pro

Free includes everything you do live in the room at no cost: unlimited sessions and participants, questions and activities, audience reactions and questions, and the projection with a QR code. On Free, a session summary is available for seven days; the data is not deleted, only hidden after that.

Pro adds preparation in advance: the scene queue, content scenes, themes, full history, summaries with export and control through the MCP connector with an AI agent. It costs CZK 199 per month or CZK 1,990 per year. We are not registered for VAT, so nothing is added to the price; the price shown is final.

Beta. Ozef is currently in beta testing: everyone gets all Pro features for free, and Pro is not sold. Ozef keeps evolving during the beta — features may change, be added or be removed, and bugs and outages may occur. We provide Pro in the beta free of charge and without any entitlement to its continuation. We will let you know in advance when the beta ends; after that, Free and Pro apply as described in these terms, and we will not charge you anything unless you buy Pro yourself.

5. Pro subscription and payments

You buy Pro as a monthly or yearly subscription. The contract is concluded when the first payment is made. We will email you a confirmation and an invoice; you can add your company and VAT ID to it when paying.

You pay by card or by another method offered on the payment page. Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). You enter your card details directly with Stripe; they never reach us.

At the end of each period, the subscription renews automatically for the same length of time and the payment is taken from the saved card. You can change the card in your profile under “Manage subscription”.

You can cancel the subscription there at any time. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period, after which your account returns to Free. We do not refund the unused part of a paid period, except in the case of withdrawal (section 6), a defect (section 7) or a change under section 8.

If a payment fails, we will try again over the following days and Pro keeps running in the meantime. If it still does not go through, the subscription ends and your account returns to Free.

Nothing is deleted when Pro ends: your data is only hidden and becomes visible again when you return to Pro.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you may withdraw from the subscription contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion. The easiest way is the “Withdraw from contract” button in your profile, which is there for the whole period. We will immediately email you a confirmation with a copy of your statement. You can also withdraw by email to …; you can use the form below.

Pro starts right after payment because you expressly request this when paying. Even so, the first time you withdraw, we refund the full amount you paid. If you have already received a refund after a withdrawal before (for the same account, email or payment card), we refund the price minus a proportionate part for the time you had Pro.

When you withdraw, Pro ends right away and your account returns to Free; nothing is deleted. We will refund the money within 14 days of your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used. To know whom we have already refunded in full, we keep a record of withdrawals for 3 years (see the Privacy Policy).

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. Anyone buying Pro for their business does not have this right.

7. Defects and complaints

We are responsible for Pro working as described for the whole duration of your subscription. If something does not work, email us at … and describe what is happening. We will fix the defect without undue delay. If that is not possible, you are entitled to a reasonable discount, or you may withdraw from the contract and we will refund the proportional part of the price. We will settle your complaint within 30 days of receiving it.

8. Changes to Pro and prices

Your subscription keeps the scope of Pro you bought it with.

We may change the price or the scope of Pro for a running subscription only by notifying you by email at least 30 days in advance. The period you have already paid for is not affected — the change applies from the next one. If you do not agree with the change, you can cancel the subscription and we will refund the proportional part of the price for the rest of the paid period.

New features in Pro and moving a feature from Pro to Free do not count as such a change.

9. Buy Ozef a coffee (voluntary contribution)

On the Buy Ozef a coffee page you can support Ozef with a voluntary contribution. It is not a payment for a service or goods: you get nothing in return and it does not change your account or plan. Payments are processed by Stripe and you will receive a confirmation by email. If you contributed by mistake or in a different amount than intended, write to us within 14 days and we will refund it.

10. How Ozef may be used

The person running a session is responsible for its content. Scenes must not contain illegal content, personal data of third parties without their knowledge or anything that could harm participants.

You must not overload the service, circumvent its limits or try to access other people’s sessions and data.

11. Personal data

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Availability and support

We aim to keep Ozef running at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation — there may be maintenance, a provider outage or a bug. If something does not work, write to us and we will look into it; support is by email with no guaranteed response time. This does not affect your rights regarding defects under section 7.

13. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or damage caused by the service being unavailable or by data loss. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will notify you of any material change by email or directly in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you can close your account; for a Pro subscription, section 8 applies.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they live. Consumers can turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), which handles out-of-court consumer disputes.
